Imperial College's Open Day

Today was IC's Open Day and I worked at a student tour guide... the pay is GOOOOOD... it was 80pounds for a 9am-5pm job... and there was lunch break w provided lunch in between too.. and the job started slightly after 9 and ended b4 5pm as well... n there was also an additional training session the day b4 for which we were paid 20pounds for less than 2 hrs.. so that's like 100pounds for less than 10hrs!!! 300 sg dollars la!!! Hahaha.. granted that the job got a little tiring and boring towards the last few hrs... but it was good fun too.. talking to all pple I met... (I've never spoken soooooooo much PROPER ENGLISH in a single day before this!!!) parents and prospective students... v interesting cuz they were telling me about where they come from as well... and yea.. it was pretty fun over all... and I realised something... quite a lot of the caucasians have heard of and many even have been to singapore before and they think it is a really interesting little city... muahaha... so sg is not as obscure as I thought it to be... =)

Anyway... yepz.. that was a good day... and yesh.. I am all excited abt gng to home.. 2 more days!!! Yay... can't wait to go home n give daddy n mummy a BIIIIGGGGGGG HUG... =) but for now.. I think I need to get down to packing.. I barely started.. am I last min or what? *Bleah*

ok... that's it for now.. it's been a long tiring day and I'm turning in early.... =)

4 days more!!!

I am going HOME IN 4 DAYS time!!! Suddenly I feel VERY VERY excited.. can't wait to get back to nice sunny warm singapore.. ok... I guess it's not always sunny, but at least it is never COLD... hahaha... really can't wait to get back now... to shop in singapore and spend in SINGAPORE DOLLARS!!!! it'll definitely feel ALOT better than spending in pounds...

I'm soooo looking forward to seeing my family and friends again... my church buddies and NUS classmates esp!!! Arrrrgggghhhh... really wanna go back NOW!!! Hahaha... *Excited* but i shall hafta be patient i guess... yepz...

Talking abt family... I really Mummy, Daddy & Jie!!! I REALLY thank God for such a wonderful family who care soooo much for me... and I recently realised that my parents are more understanding and supportive than I thought them to be... Thank you Daddy & Mummy!!! Love you LOADZ... n jie... I can't wait to go shopping with you!!! Hehehe.. our shopping trips (though rather infrequent) were always so fun-filled and hilarious...

And Bernie!!! I miss you LOTZ toooooooo!!! Yesh... shopping w you is super fun too!!! Ahhhh.. I can't wait to get back to meet up w you again!!! And yesh.. I noe you've been waiting for almost a month liao.. and are v v v v bored these days.. but hang in there.. 4 more days... ok.. maybe 5 by the time I touch down in sg...

Yepz... and for the rest of my church buddies... I am sooo looking forward to seeing you guys in church again... to be able to just worship God and study His Word with you all again... hehehe... I am reeeeeaaaaaaaalllllllllly EXCITED and eager to go home now... =)

Okok.. shall stop blabbering n go pack my stuff.. haha... =)
